Spay and Neuter Programs with Financial Assistance provided at BCVH
Currently there are two options available at BCVH (both require financial verification):
1) State Funded
This program allows for those of extreme financial need to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered at no cost to the owner. BCVH has performed these surgeries for the community of Swain County for many years. As of June 1, 2019 we have begun offering these vouchers directly to the public (eliminating administrative costs of a third party and additional burden to owners seeking help). Contact our office today to learn more about these programs and apply for your pet!
This program is supported by the sell of “I Care” NC License Tag Plates. Consider purchasing one and supporting a great cause!

2) SNYP @ BCVH
SNYP @ BCVH (Spay Neuter Your Pet at Bryson City Veterinary Hospital) is also available for those of financial need (not as extreme as those of the State Funded program). Eligible individuals can have their pet spayed or neutered at BCVH for a discounted fee. This program and discount is made available through the donation of time, services, and resources by Bryson City Veterinary Hospital.
Apply at our office at 200 Bryson Walk, Bryson City NC or call our office at 828.488.6018 for more information. Or print the application here.
